Zoom Integration Guide

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This guide explains how the Screen Pulse CRM (the “Service”) works with Zoom — how to connect your Zoom account, how the integration is used, and how to disconnect and fully remove it. The integration lets our staff create Zoom meetings for scheduled customer demos, directly from the Service.

What the integration does

  • Creates a Zoom meeting for a demo you schedule in the Service.
  • Saves the meeting’s join link to the demo so you (and the attendee) can join at the right time.
  • Nothing else — it does not access your Zoom recordings, chats, or contacts. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Adding the app (connecting Zoom)

The quickest way is to open /zoom-connect and click Connect Zoom— you’ll be asked to sign in first if you aren’t already. You can also follow the steps below from inside the Service.

  1. Sign in to the Service.
  2. Open the Calendar, or start scheduling a demo with Schedule a demo.
  3. In the meeting-link area, click Connect Zoom.
  4. You’ll be sent to Zoom’s secure consent screen. Review the permissions and click Allow. Be sure to grant permission to create meetings — this is the permission the integration needs to do its job.
  5. You’ll return to the Service with Zoom connected. You only need to do this once.

Using the app (booking a demo)

  1. Click Schedule a demo.
  2. Enter the attendee’s email, and choose the date, time, and duration.
  3. Make sure Zoom is selected as the meeting provider (connect it first if you haven’t).
  4. Click Schedule demo. The Service creates a Zoom meeting and attaches the join link.
  5. Open the demo from the Calendar and use Join Zoom to start or join the meeting.

Removing the app (disconnecting Zoom)

You can remove the integration in two places — we recommend doing both to fully revoke access.

1. From the Service

  1. Open the Calendar (or the Schedule-a-demo panel) where your Zoom connection is shown.
  2. Choose Disconnect for Zoom.
  3. This deletes the Zoom access stored by the Service. After disconnecting, the Service can no longer create Zoom meetings on your behalf until you reconnect.

2. From your Zoom account

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Marketplace at marketplace.zoom.us.
  2. Go to Manage → Added Apps (your installed apps).
  3. Find Screen Pulse and click Remove.
  4. Confirm removal. Zoom then revokes the Service’s access to your account.
